Details
CHT was established in 1962 to provide residential care for older people. As a not-for profit organisation we are able to focus on our residents and their needs and on providing superior service and accommodation.

Our hospitals, rest homes, and dementia care units have an enviable reputation across Auckland. Modern facilities have been carefully designed to create a home for our residents who are looked after by professional and caring staff.

Our commitment is to provide you with the care you deserve and to achieve the balance you need between independence and support, company and privacy.

We look forward to welcoming you at CHT.

We take pride in the home and community we have created for our residents at Waiuku Hospital and Rest Home.

Situated on the tranquil Waiuku Estuary, the Hospital and Rest Home looks over the pleasant rural landscape and Waiuku town centre.

Waiuku Hospital and Rest Home is designed around a central garden providing a sheltered environment for outdoor living.

With light and airy spaces and generous lounges and dining areas, Waiuku Rest Home provides opportunity for residents to be part of a community but enjoy privacy when they prefer.

Our modern and comfortable rooms are enhanced by the personal details you add with your ornaments, photographs and favourite furniture.

Courtyards are a special feature at Waiuku and can be accessed from bedrooms and lounges, providing residents with secure outdoor areas and gardens.

Quality care, tasty and nutritious meals, social activities and companionship are provided by dedicated and professional staff who respect your dignity and independence.

Waiuku is a delightful and safe environment, carefully designed for your well being and comfort.
