Serving the needs of the surrounding communities of Otahuhu, Mangere, Onehunga and Papatoetoe.

Bupa is proud to offer Hospital, Rest Home and Respite and Day Care at David Lange Care Home in Mangere East, Auckland. Our happy residents are testimony to the living and laughter that goes on here!

Our residents make their rooms their own – some with photos and ornaments, others with their own curtains, wall hangings and bedspreads. Each person has their own room, with an en-suite bathroom.

Our staff are wonderful, kind people, always ready to stop and have a chat. They get to know our residents well, and care for them in a way that is right for them. We have a Doctor who visits every day during the week, and physiotherapists who are here regularly.

Friends and family are welcome at any time, and can share a meal, a coffee or some of our entertainment – 7 days a week.

Our residents also enjoy getting out and about in the Bupa van. There’s always something happening at David Lange.

Our Care Home has been designed to offer choices. Our lounge and dining areas are comfortable with recliner chairs and large screen TV's. Our outdoor area is sunny and sheltered. We have planter boxes where people who live here can grow their own vegetables, private areas to sit in the sun for a chat, or even bring your pets in to visit.

We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone our Care Home Manager, Minoo Baker, or feel free to drop in.

Delighted with the care that my Mum and Dad are receiving- S.W

You have all been so wonderful, it's hard to know how to begin to say thank you....Please know that your kindness will always be remembered.

Home is very new but the staff are always friendly and listen to Mums needs and my request. It helps the family knowing this. I am grateful that staff have made this transition for the whole family easier by being so helpful. Keep up the good work David Lange.

This David Lange home is such a beautiful, caring and a special home.Leaving my family home was very emotional for me but as soon as I stepped through the doors at David Lange Care Home I feel special and there is always someone to care for me.

Staff always willing to stop and answer needs. Doesn't smell of urine, friendly, food as good as home cooked.

My family and I would like to thank all of the staff for the wonderful care they have given my sister since she arrived at the home. Her physical health, personal hygiene and overall condition have improved considerably and this is a credit to the facility. We couldn't have chosen a better hospital for her.
