HISTORY

In 1973 a group of prominent Blenheim citizens set up the Bethsaida Trust, the purpose of which was to establish a Home for the care of the frail and dependent elderly, of either sex, without discrimination as to religion, race or political belief. This idea has expanded into the complex known as the BETHSAIDA RETIREMENT VILLAGE and covers 2 hectares of landscaped park like land close to shopping centre at Redwoodtown and within close proximity of various Churches. The main commercial centre of Blenheim is approximately 1.5 kms drive from the village.
Governance is provided by a Board of Trustees with support by an experienced Clinical Governance Advisor and Manager who meet and work closely together to provide the finest level of service
