| Here are a few kind words from some of the people who enjoy living at Melrose:
“ The advantage of having rest home and hospital care (on site) played a huge part in our buying”, Ley Quennell “ They (the staff) give an atmosphere of kindness in action”, Ruth Dalglish “ I had no knowledge about living in a Retirement Village and was, as a result, rather apprehensive. I have now been here almost 6 years and am more than satisfied with my life here. As a result, I have no intention of leaving Melrose”, James Simcock “ When helping an existing resident with her garden, we could feel the peace and quiet of the area and became serious about the village and inspecting the villas”, Margaret Pringle "We would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to the excellent team at Melrose for the outstanding care of our mother over the 7 years she as been with them and for their frienship to her and her extended family". 11 July 2011 "As I have been a visitor to Melrose for nearly six years, I wish to let you know how very nice I have found many things at your home. It is always lovely and clean, no dust on the furniture and the staff are always very nice. I'm an elderly lady and if the day come I should go into a home, Melrose I would choose." 7/5/2012 "I cannot recomment the Melrose complex enough. The staff at Rosewood are a wonderful, caring, empathetic, passionate group and the care they provide would rival any that is provided elsewhere. All the staff are fantastic. Whilst not aesthetically ideal, Rosewood/Maplewood have a "heart" and as such are far superior to other premises which look "pretty" but don't have the same "love" for the residents. I have recommended Melrose to many" 7/8/11 |

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (hereafter referred to as The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who buy into a retirement village. If you intend to purchase you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Further information about Retirement Villages is available in the section 'Frequent Questions'. Some Retirement Villages are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please do your homework.
In some villages there may be some units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
