Special Features
Rose Lodge is a small 14 bed, Stage 2 home and provides care for Elderly with SNL of 2, 3, and 4.

It has been a private home and retains many of those features and advantages. Because we are small you are very special and we are able to have a very close an special relationship with all Residents. Our home is set in a central, peaceful, quality Epsom street and is easily accessed by Public transport. The garden is dominated by well established trees and pretty gardens and has seats positioned for your serenity.

We have dedicated and well trained staff. Ongoing education is an important part of the year and ensures everyone has and uses updated knowledge.
Our Focus will be to extend our family of four generations to include all residents, with a more personable approach, with input from the same generation, and Professional care from all.

We have achieved Telarc certification for our systems, and have surveys and audits to maintain our quality assurance standard.

Interests & Activities

Our family have the opportunity and choice of activities 5 or 6 days a week with a special activites person. The programme is planned by the Residents with the help of staff to ensure everyones' needs and interests are met and may include games, quizzes and brain teasers, debates, cooking (cakes to curry), gardening, flowers, cards.

Celebrations and parties are a necessary part of life and are done in style at Rose Lodge, with guests invited by the resident of the moment

Church and spiritual needs are an individual choice and we make every effort to ensure you have the attention you require from your spiritual advisor.

Children are always welcome and add a balance to life - be warned - you may have to share the littlies with everyone else!

Exercise is not a chore at Rose Lodge - dancing and music are at least a weekly event with our inhouse professional musician and visiting entertainers leading the fun with Residents, Families, visitors and staff joining in.

Outings are a must and our mini coach is used at least weekly for recreation and shopping expeditions.

Some people do not feel comfortable in a group so there is the important quiet 'one to one' time between staff and Resident.

For our book worms there is an excellent visiting library service to cater for all tastes and also provide Big print books.

The weekly news letter keeps Residents, staff and families up to date with the comings and goings in our little home.
