Registered Nurse 32 Yes We have one registered nurse who does afternoon shifts. The facility manager is a registered nurse and both are on call 24/7.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers 600 Yes All Healthcare Assistants are qualified in ACE core and ACE dementia or equivalent to. The HCA's are very committed to providing the best care for our residents.
Physiotherapist Negotiable Physiotherapist is available as needed.
Occupational Therapist Negotiable Occupational Therapist is available as needed.
Own Social Worker Yes We have frequent visits from Social workers at TBH.
Diversional Therapist 32 Yes We have one diversional therapist and one Activity Co-ordinator. We have 2 happy hour sessions a week with entertainment, snacks and beverages, family welcome. We have regular pamper sessions, games, exercise, craft days and outings.
Activities Co-ordinator 32 Yes Along with our diversional therapist, the activities coordinator provides one on one sessions for those residents who don't wish to participate in activities provided.
Hairdresser Yes On site salon with 2 hairdressers available throughout the week. Beauty therapist on request.
Podiatrist Yes Visits regularly on a six weekly basis.
Dietitian Yes All our menus are reviewed by a qualified dietician, if residents require individual input by a dietician a referral is made through a GP.

Kaumatua Yes We have a Kaumatua from a local Iwi who visits when needed and provides cultural in-services for Staff.
Chaplain/Spiritual Advisor Yes Community Chaplains visit every Monday for Church services and any resident is welcome to attend. If needed we can provide transport to community services.
