Pinehaven Lodge is a 17 bed privately owned elderly care home, situated in an idyllic, sheltered, north facing location 2 minutes north of Orewa. We provide 24 hour long term care, short term support and respite care for individuals of varying ages.

Interests & Activities

We aim to keep our residents in touch with the local community by encouraging as many visits as possible from entertainers, church people, friends and relations.

Pinehaven offers a weekly activity programme which incorporates music, crosswords & quiz's, gentle physical exercises & games and outings. We also encourage craft activities as well as gardening for those who are interested. A number of residents attend weekly clubs in Orewa & Whangaparaoa - The hairdresser visits weekly.

We have a modern mini bus available for shopping, drives etc, and offer a courtesy coach service for visitors who find it difficult to access us.
Our home is warm and comfortable with large lounge areas, for those wishing to read, chat, or just relax and enjoy the atmopshere. The efficient wood burner fire provides heating
and a welcoming atmosphere during the winter months.

Visitors are welcome any time.

Details re Meals Excellent home cooked meals and baking are provided. We take special care to ensure all food is of the highest quality. All made with fresh ingredients on the premises. We regularly undertake food surveys to ensure meal satisfaction.
