Happy hour. Resident's meetings. Van for outings with wheel chair hoist. Piano with outside entertainers coming in. RSA visits and visits to other Homes for entertainment. Bowling tournaments (bowls), bingo, individual time. Encouragement with community based activities.

Details re Meals		Meals and baking are home cooked. They are audited by a Registered Dietian annually. Individual, diabetic & cultural needs are catered for. We really do try to ensure that people are given the food that they like. We do however need to ensure that nutritional needs are being met. Traditional meals are enjoyed and are often a highlight of the day.
Staffing Details		Our trained staff are caring compasionate people who have an empathy with older people. Staff, residents & families quickly become part of the extended family of the resident and their families. Because we are a small facility it allows our relationships to be more intimate and personal. Many of the staff are long serving. Our staff members consist of an R.N./ Manager, Registered Clinical Nurse, Care Givers, Cooks, Gardener, Handyman, Activities Co-ordindator. Residents have their own Doctors who visit three monthly or more often as required.
