Coombrae has been providing top quality care and companionship for older people in the Manawatu for more than 35 years. Just 2km from Feilding town centre, Coombrae is set in a tranquil semi-rural environment with beautifully maintained grounds.

Our experienced team is dedicated to providing personalised and compassionate care and tailoring our services to suit each resident's unique needs.

Coombrae supports older people who cannot manage at home, enabling them to maintain their independence and privacy in home-like surroundings. Our services are designed to take care of residents' day-to-day needs and emotional wellbeing while maintaining strong links with their families and the wider community.

We have 31 single rooms where residents can receive the exact level of care that they need.

Details re Meals Our varied menu is designed to maintain optimum health and well being. Every effort is made to cater for individual dietary needs and tastes. Menus are reviewed annually by a registred dietician. Breakfast is delivered to your room. Fresh meals are cooked daily on the premises with fresh baking for morning and afterrnoon tea served in the main lounge. Daily soup at tea time in the winter and salads in the summer.
Staffing Details Trained caregivers to assist with cares, a qualified cook, experienced laundry lady and a dedicated cleaner crew. Nurse available Monday to Friday from 8-4.30 and on call 24 hrs. We employ a quality coordinater to make sure we are constantly looking at improving our standards. Our office is staffed from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday to Friday. The Manager is on duty from Monday -Friday and on call during the weekends

Fees Details/Fees Do Not Include Fees cover all daily care but do not include personal toiletries i.e. soap, tooth paste, talcum powder, shampoo and conditioner Also not included are services not requested by a registered nurse or G.P, such as a podiatrist. Also other services such as those provided by dentist, opticians, chaplains, hair dressers, drycleaners and solicitors can be arranged at the resident's expense.
