Chiswick Park has 22 beds for Hospital Level care.

It also offers rest home, day and respite care services and has a contract with the local DHB.

Our Facility Manager is a Registered Nurse and has 11 years aged care experience in both acute hospital and community settings.

In addition, our Clinical Leader, also a Registred Nurse, has 11 years aged care experience.

There is Registered Nurse coverage 24-hours a day.

Chiswick Park has a minibus for outings, including shopping days, and visits to local clubs.

Activity programme: varied programme offered incl one on ones and outings, entertainment and celebrations, programme available from Manager.

Advocate: Salvation army chaplain acts as advocate, also have access to Health and Disability advocacy services.

Age Concern: Have access to training and resources from Age concern.

Alzheimer's Society:have access to training and resources from the society.

Arthritis society: offer assistance with exercise programme and use as a resource.

BBQ: Have BBQ in summers.

Big print books : have extensive library at facility, also have weekly delivery from local library and visits to library if requested.

Details re Meals Resident's likes and dislikes considered. Winter and Summer menus. main meal at lunch, tea and coffee facilities during day via kitchen, can access food between meals. resident meetings monthly are attended by kitchen manager who addresses food compliments or complaints.
Staffing Details staff ratios: Morning shift-3 staff to 16 residents, afternoon- 2 staff to 16 residents, night -2 staff to 47 residents.RN available on all shifts, Care Manager-Mon-Fri 8-5. We have staff that have been part of the facility for 13 years,and have very dedicated staff who have been here 10 years or more.We also have student nurses who gain some hands on experience working as caregivers under the guidance of the registered nurses
