Hospital Care
Parklands Hospital, Papanui - Matai & Kowhai
|
Located in Papanui, Parklands Hospital has been recently refurbished. The fresh, new feel of the home complements our beautiful gardens perfectly. The gardens give wonderful views from the inside, as well as providing sunny, peaceful places to sit outside.
We welcome friends and family at any time. The great reputation of the food our chef prepares means that friends and family often join their special people here for a meal (for a small charge). Our residents also enjoy getting out and about in the Bupa van. Our nursing and care staff give care in a way that is friendly and respects the wishes of each resident. This reflects a combination of our training, and the effort we make to really get to know each resident, through something we call the Map of Life. Through this, we understand what has been important in each persons life, as well as their particular likes, dislikes, and preferences. Once we have this understanding, we can give the care that each person needs in a way that is right for them. We also have a retirement village being built on the same site, which will make visiting a spouse easier for some people. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone Pauline Porton, our care home manager, or feel free to drop in at any time. Our facility also offers these services: |
