Registered Nurse 24/7 Yes We provide 24 hour Registered Nurse cover. The Facility Manager & Clinical Manager are Registered Nurses. The Registered Nurses are responsible for coordinating care of our hospital residents and provide clinical oversight & guidance to our Caregivers.

Special Features
Some of our Rooms are "LARGE" with kitchenettes so coffee or tea could be made in the rooms. They are similar to a small studio, and have full ensuites (shower,toilet,basin) and a ranchslider looking out to the gardens. These rooms all have TVs and are comfortably furnitured.

Interests & Activities

Weekly Social Calendar - printed and on the notice board, copies at Reception - Our Activity Person (Play Lady) visits each Resident every morning and informs them of what is happening that day.
We encourage our Residents to take part in activities.
We have our own library of big print books and the library bus comes fortnightly.
We can provide Advocacy (An Advocate comes and talks to the Residents) and Age Concern and access to all Associations eg Stroke, Probus, Communicare etc.
We have billiards, card group, board games, jigsaws, 2 cats, indoor bowls, bingo, a shop on site, church services, concerts, outside Entertainers, Cultural Performances, Parties with family members, birthday celebrations - cake and present (we take a photo too!)
We have excercise to music, access to planting/raised planter boxes, petanque,skittles, happy hour, 2 baths for relaxation.
Weekly trip to the bakery and lotto shop!
Weekly trip to local shopping centre.
Monthly trip to The Warehouse for shopping.
Our own van, 2 TVs with a video recorder for movies
We are an executive member of the Parkinsons' Society
Rooms can have Sky TV
We visit the Mt Wellington Panmure RSA once a month and have quite a few RSA members in our facility.
