The 17 Cottages are independent from Glenwood Home but share the same site. Cottage residents are able to take part in some of the activities in the home, and meals are availble to purchase and have delivered. Cottage residents are invited on van outings. Baking days, Big print books, Blind Foundation, BBQ, Cards, Entertainers, Exercises, Games, Garden, Housie, Indoor Games, Library, Minibus Outings, Religious services, & Singing. Glenwood has wonderful volunteers "Friends of Glenwood" who support activities., Breakfast in bed, Bridge, Care and Craft |

The reasonably priced Occupation Right Agreement, low monthly service maintenance fee, and the high standard of accommodation continues to make the cottages an attractive option for people in their retirement years. NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act.
