About Summerset at Bishopscourt (Dunedin)
Summerset at Bishopscourt is located on Shetland Street in Wakari. It is close to the Roslyn village shops, Balmacewen Golf Club and excellent public transport. It is a few minutes’ drive from the Dunedin city centre.
The village centre is the heart of Summerset at Bishopscourt. It is home to a range of wonderful facilities including the Divine Café, library, resident lounges and social spaces, hair salon, pool table, exercise room and indoor pool. Our village offers a range of townhouses and apartments for independent living.
Summerset's continuum of care means that should your needs change, we can provide rest home-level care in your serviced apartment or up to hospital-level care in our care centre (subject to availability) from our caring and dedicated team.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
