Be quick to secure this sunny serviced apartment.
Bathed in all-day sun, this welcoming apartment sits on the first floor and enjoys peaceful views across the village bowling green and out to the orchards beyond. Step inside and you’ll find a freshly painted home with a warm and cosy feeling. The main bedroom opens through a wall of stacking sliding doors to a private balcony – the perfect spot for a morning coffee. It’s just a short stroll to the lift and village centre, making everyday errands and social visits wonderfully simple.
Assisted living in a serviced apartment gives you more time to embrace the things that bring you joy, while we take care of your housekeeping, home maintenance, a daily chef-prepared meal and more! Better yet, serviced apartments are located in the heart of our village communities, so every day brings opportunities to connect with others and enjoy the amenities and activities.
James Wattie Village offers superb views of the iconic Te Mata Peak. Convenience is key, with a short drive or easy stroll to Havelock North Village, home to a supermarket, pharmacy, boutiques and dining. For outdoor enjoyment, Anderson Park is just up the road, while the Hawke’s Bay Trails offer scenic routes connecting you to local cellar doors. The Hawke’s Bay Farmers Market is perfect for fresh produce and coffee, and with nearby transport links and easy access to Te Mata Peak tracks, everything you need is close by.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
