About Pinesong Village - Metlifecare Retirement Village
Pinesong truly is a slice of heaven, nestled in the heart of Titirangi – Auckland’s greenest suburb. The village has a sweeping 180 degree sea view and is set in 8 hectares of lush gardens and a beautiful native bush reserve, offering great peace and tranquility.
The gently undulating landscape is a perfect setting for our spacious, up-market apartments and townhouses. You will have the choice of living options in an independent unit or apartment. If you're requiring assisted living, then our serviced apartments cater for those who want to keep their privacy and independence, but need support with daily tasks. Plus, we are licensed to provide rest home level care in our lovely, easy to manage serviced apartments.
"When Mum was still at home we'd have to spend time doing the vacuuming, the laundry and things like that. Now we come in, enjoy each other's company and make the most of every moment we have together," says daughter of a Serviced Apartment resident.
Come and experience this charming village and exceptional lifestyle for yourself.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
