Omokoroa Country Estate is located in a welcoming seaside community fifteen minutes away from Tauranga, on the Omokoroa Peninsula. The local 18-hole golf links is a short stroll away, and a bowling club and tennis club only a few minutes' drive. There’s no shortage of activities to get involved with, from quilting to aquacise, and a regular social calendar of events and outings.

Residents Say It Best
”“I came to look at Omokoroa Country Estate after seeing it advertised on Facebook.
When I viewed my new home, I fell completely in love with it and its location, close to the sea with wonderful views. This took me by surprise as I hadn’t thought about moving into a village at all! I sat with Karen, and we discussed all the information I needed to know, a couple of months later I achieved my goal and moved in. I’ve just returned from my second long trip away, and on return my home was exactly as I had left it! I am very happy with my decision and village life”.”
Trevor Windsor
”From the moment we drove into Omokoroa Country Estate, we knew that this was for us with the beautiful, landscaped gardens and local walks for our pet dog Rusty, knowing that we could bring him with us made the move so much easier! There is an abundance of activities to choose from, a good way for us to meet new friends. We have been made feel very welcome by both residents and management from day one. We love our new home.”

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
