About Mona Vale Lifecare and Village

Mona Vale Retirement Village is a family owned village in Riccarton, Christchurch, with 20 two and three bedroom villas and Mona Vale Lifecare, a 65 bed care home, on the same site. Our FAMILY OWNED homes make your loved ones their focus for life enrichment and safety each moment.

We are part of the same family group as Kauri Lodge, Avon Lifecare and Victoria Care, and have been caring for older people in Christchurch since 2008. Villas will be available under an occupation right agreement once village registration is complete, and we are taking expressions of interest now.

Mona Vale Lifecare opens in March 2027 with rest home care, and hospital level care to follow during 2027. Care apartments are also available under an occupation right agreement, so residents can receive care in their own apartment. Good home cooked meals, a full activities programme and a warm welcome for family are at the heart of everything we do.
