Sam is a wonderful manager and respects at all times that our villa’s are our homes allows us to add our own touches (within reason) everyone here is friendly, what I love mostly that I can continue my busy lifestyle whilst enjoying what I can within the village life with absolutely no stress and total enjoyment.”

”We have lived in the Riversdale Lifestyle Village for six months now, and we can honestly say it has been the best decision we’ve made. From the very beginning, the manager, Sam, has been incredibly welcoming and easy to get along with. He has a wonderful way of making the village feel like our home, and his support has made our transition smooth and very positive. We’ve made great friends in a short time and truly enjoy the many social occasions that are organised and also the wonderful facilities, particularly the indoor pool , gym and spa pool. Our family are also made most welcome to use the facilities and join us on social occasions too. When our grandsons come over they say our place is just like living in a resort. We agree. The strong sense of community, along with Sam’s genuine care and approachable manner, has made our experience here everything we hoped for — and more. ”Residents for some 3 years now, we are still thrilled with our choice of “Forever Home.” We have put our own stamp on our Villa and grounds during this period which, in part, is due to the encouragement and keenness of the Riversdale Manager. The Complex is unique here in the Bay and it’s presentation, thoughtful layout, and what it has to offer Residents with its various facilities, is what makes Riversdale special. Somewhat new to ‘retirement for Terry and semi-retirement’ for me, we find living here is like a holiday each day. Of course, when we lock up and go away, knowing our Villa is safe and secure and lawns tended to. Finally, we must comment on our Manager, Sam. He is also a big part of our decision to by in Riversdale back in 2020. His larger than life personality, organisational skills, decorating and fitout flair of the Villas, his desire to ensure every Resident is happy here and feels included and be part of whatever is going on, is an asset to their business.”

It has a lovely atmosphere; very friendly people and the activities and outings cater for everyone’s interests. We are never board. As a village we are so very fortunate to have our exceptional manager Sam Elder. His caring attitude towards us all show how much he loves his job. Sam is very approachable, listens to our concerns if any, organises our outings and guest speakers etc. If you are thinking of taking the next step and trying out village living do it when you can not when you have to and the decision is taken out of your hands, I highly recommend it. ”Relocating to RLV some 4 years ago was a very positive move for us, and our life has been enriched through the experiences, residents, and freedom Riversdale has given us. With circa 70 residents, the Village has a unique character in that our homes are spacious, the grounds are attractive, and the Centre's facilities cater to most needs. We have choice re planting our own gardens, indoor/outdoor decor, plus entertaining indoors/outdoors, without compromising our privacy. The Commander in Chief, Sam Elder is to be commended for his dedication to the Village and we Residents never ending 'wants and needs.' His zest for life is infectious, and ultimately has a flow-on effect through Riversdale. With so many different personalities, it makes for an interesting and varied life for us. We would recommend anyone thinking about retirement living, come and view the Open Homes and decide for yourselves.”
