About Lansdowne Court
Located in the leafy suburb of Lansdowne is Alden Lansdowne Court, situated on the site of the former Golden Shears Motel. The village is close to local shops and cafes, and just a short drive from Queen Elizabeth Park and Henley Lake which is perfect for scenic walks and picnics.
Lansdowne Court's units have generous sized lounges, with lovely views across our gardens. You have space to create your own gardens if you choose, or enjoy in your retirement, having the maintenance man mow the lawns and keep the gardens tidy.
At some stage in our lives we may require more assistance in our day to day living. Our wealth of experience in other stages of care means our team can advise you on your options and how it all works. We are here to help and assure you through the stages.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
