About Hokianga Road Masonic Village
Calling for Expressions of Interest - three brand new 2-bedroom units under construction in 2025.
These modern units, with internal access garaging, are likely to be available late 2025. Contact us now to register your interest! Email: northland@masonicvillages.co.nz or (09) 438 3109 extn1. (Pictures - artist's impression only. Other photos are examples of other units in the village.)
The new units will be available to purchase under an Occupational Right Agreement. With a fixed weekly 'levy for life' this is a great opportunity in a well maintained, sunny village, close to hospitals and schools and only a short distance from the rural hub of Dargaville.
The village, in Hokianga Road, borders St Joseph School and Sacred Heart Parish and is ideal for those who love getting out and about but also want the peace of mind, space and security offered by a friendly and relaxed village environment, with other residents of similar ages and interests.
Masons and non-Masons are very welcome – Masonic Villages are an example of Freemasonry at work in the local community.
There are also Masonic villages in Whangarei and Wellsford. All of the villages offer independent living - there are no Village Management personnel on site.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
