About Banbury Park

Banbury Park is a new generation lifestyle village nestled in the heart of Halswell, Christchurch.

Spacious, independent houses are available in a variety of sizes and designs including two and three bedroom options with single or double garages.

Banbury Park has a state-of-the-art resthome/hospital facility, and a separate specialised dementia centre. Both facilities are single storey, with large apartment-sized care suites - each with personal decks, leading to tranquil gardens.

Banbury Park Pavilion is currently under development and will serve as a vibrant entertainment and activities hub for village residents. Scheduled for completion in mid-2026, the Pavilion will feature a movie theatre, indoor heated swimming pool, spa, restaurant, café, bar, bakery, massage room, hairdressing salon, gymnasium, library and a dedicated wellness centre. The Pavilion will also house 18 spacious serviced apartments, each offering service package options, tailored to meet a wide range of lifestyle and care needs.

Qestral’s TRILife Wellness Programme won the 2025 ‘Innovation of the Year Award’ for Active Ageing at the World Ageing Festival, in Singapore. Alongside award-winning exercise classes, the Pavilion will host celebrity guest speakers, cabarets and more. With a full-time village activities team curating an ever-changing schedule, there’s always something exciting for everyone to enjoy.

Banbury Park is a subsidiary of Qestral Corporation Limited, owners and operators of new-generation retirement villages throughout Aotearoa including Burlington and Alpine View in Christchurch, Coastal View in Nelson, Ashbury Heights in Whangarei, with future developments underway in Hamilton (Broadwater).
