Basic information
Situated in Waitikiri, Christchurch, Alpine View Lifestyle Village is 1.4 km from Burwood Hospital and a short walk to Prestons shopping centre, which includes a New World and a pharmacy.

The village has different levels of living - including independent houses, serviced apartments and a resthome/hospital. Alpine View’s sunny and spacious houses come in a variety of sizes, with generous space between neighbours.

Serviced apartments are all housed within the Lodge, which include resort-style facilities include an indoor heated pool and spa, cinema, bar, gym and hair salon, plus a café and restaurant where family and friends are warmly welcomed.

An entertaining lifestyle is enhanced through Alpine View’s calendar of activities and events. Indulge in culture with theatre, galleries and films; explore Aotearoa with the Travel Club; and nourish your mind and body with TRILife exercise classes, documentaries and seminars with guest speakers.

Alpine View is a subsidiary of Qestral Corporation Limited, owners and operators of new-generation retirement villages throughout Aotearoa including Burlington and Banbury Park in Christchurch, Coastal View in Nelson and Ashbury Heights in Whangarei, with future developments underway in Hamilton (Broadwater).

Qestral believes in a unique retirement experience which combines the very best lifestyle with safe-guarded health. The management directors are leaders in the aged care industry.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
