Description
Make your home at Broadview Lifecare

When it comes to everyday life, Broadview makes it easy with village, rest home, hospital, day care, respite, dementia and specialised hospital care. The well-appointed rooms all have a rural outlook and come complete with a 24-hour call system, WiFi and ensuites.

On the outskirts of Whanganui, Broadview is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, with a bird aviary and two sheep in our paddock. With a lovely rural setting, Broadview is just a short drive from the town centre, where you’ll find all the essentials including a pharmacy and library.

We offer everything from physiotherapy to podiatry, speech therapy, SKY TV, and hairdressing. We have a range of recreational activities including happy hour, board games, gardening, indoor bowls and live entertainment. Our facility van is also always on hand for outings.

“My mother was so well cared for and we were always made very welcome when we visited, thank you all”
~ Family of Resident

"We feel totally at home. We have super neighbors and participate in all the social occasions the village has to offer. Our only regret is that we didn't make the move sooner." ~ Rona & Colin Spencer, who moved into our village in December 2012

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
