During the past seven years my mother has been in care at Kohatu Resthome. During this time I have had great peace of mind knowing that my mother is being taken care of in a very professional and caring manner.

The management and staff are very always very approachable - no matter what. They encourage the resident to participate in outings to various places of interest and at times have in-house entertainment provided

The meals are made on the premises and are very nutritious.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Kohatu as a truly caring and homely environment.

I have been in supported living at Kohatu since February 2022, the staff and management of Kohatu Rest Home are amazing, they really go the extra mile for all of their residents. I enjoy the delicious home cooked meals and baking and the friendly banter with the staff.

I would highly recommend Kohatu Rest Home.

My Mum Hilda arrived Feb/March 21 for a 2 week respite stay and it's nearly August and she's moved in ..for good. Because the love and genuine kindness brought out the best in her. Never known such an AWESOME Resthome. She's so safe and happy. Thank you doesn't cut it really..
Forever Grateful
