Our Village Offering
Tucked away in a beautiful native forest reserve, Totara Park has the best of both worlds, enjoying peace and tranquility, whilst being just a 10-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) from Warkworth town centre. Visitors are often surprised how spacious the village is, with lush gardens and room to breathe, you feel part of the community whilst maintaining that important sense of privacy.

Totara Park offers affordable one and two-bedroom villas in different shapes and sizes, so you can choose the home that best suits your lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for a villa with a large decking area to entertain guests or a cosy conservatory to read a book in, Totara Park has something for everyone.

Active Village Life
Many of our residents are active in the local community, enjoying social activities at clubs and societies like they’ve always done.
Totara Park’s fabulous location means that shops, cafes and restaurants are just a stone’s throw away, so catching up with friends over a coffee couldn’t be easier. Matakana Village is within short driving distance and is an excellent place to visit on a Sunday morning to buy fresh produce. Keen walkers will enjoy taking a stroll along the banks of the stunning Mahurangi River.
There’s also plenty to do right on your doorstep in the village community centre. Join your neighbours for monthly dinners, coffee mornings, interest groups and much more!

Care-Free Independence
Live life the way you want to, with the freedom to do the things you love. We’ll take care of all the maintenance - building repairs, exterior cleaning and the gardening too. Knowing the weekly fee is fixed for life guaranteed means you can budget and have financial surety for the future.

Minimum age of entry for residents is 70 years.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
