|Day Centre for the Over 70's. Are you lonely, socially isolated, bored? Have you just moved to Waipukurau and don't know anyone, come and join us for a day to see what we do and join in the fun. We will pick you up from your home from 9am onward so that you can join us for hot scones for morning tea, have a midday 2 course meal and deliver you home at 3pm after a fun day's activities|

|We offer a very wide range of entertainments, speakers, craft making, exercises, mental and physical stimulation and above all, FUN. We have a caring, nurturing environment where friendships are made, good companionship, no two days are the same. We arrange numerous outings to places of interest. We have a team of competent and caring staff who enjoy providing a centre based activity program.|

Pakeke Centre staff are excited to advise and promote, that due to demand for this stimulating service, we are now open on a Tuesday 10am till 2pm. This group of people have early stage Dementia, therefore the programme is designed to stimulate the brain.
3 staff at Pakeke have their Level 4 Dementia Certificates, their knowledge and skills are essential for a well balanced programme.
Pakeke Centre celebrated 20 years of service in June 2019.
