WINDSORCARE is an established NOT FOR PROFIT retirement village, providing accommodation and care for those aged 65+. We have 49 Independent Living cottages and at the end of 2020 a further 8 brand new architecturally designed villas will be ready to move into March 2021 and are ready for purchase NOW. EXCITING NEWS!

WINDSORCARE Retirement Village situated opposite The Palms Shopping Centre in Shirley, Christchurch have 8 brand new villas ready to move into by Christmas.  

We are also holding OPEN DAYS on the 28th of November and the 5th of December from 1pm to 5pm.

On the 28th there will be a community fair held on the grounds, market stalls, sausage sizzle and candy floss on offer along with loads of wonderful goodies to purchase and browse.  Rainy day alternative will be the 5th of December.

Please come along and join in the fun, we would love to see you there.

WINDSORCARE is one of the oldest most established retirement villages in the East of Christchurch operating for over 60 years.  In addition to our 50 established cottages, we now have a further 8 new villas added to our independent living community.

We offer continuing care via our Rest Home, Hospital and Dementia units.  These units are at a premium as our reputation as a first class health care provider is excellent and our staff to resident levels are higher than most.  As an owner of an independent villa you will have preference if a space becomes available giving you peace of mind and security.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

 

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
