Visitors as usual (but not if you're unwell or recently returned from overseas)
Set in spacious, well laid out grounds and positioned not too far from the centre of Invercargill, Peacehaven Village offers the ideal retirement living option.

It boasts a safe and supportive environment, with a range of services to ensure residents continue getting the most out of life. There is a communal area Andersons Hall for gatherings and there are many activities on offer in Elms Complex. It features a raised bowls table, fitness equipment, library and a café that is perfect for visiting friends and family. Within the village there is also The Shed, for crafty types and Iona chapel with a dedicated Pastoral Visitor. Services are offered regardless of race, belief or background.

Peacehaven Village encourages residents to enjoy the level of independence they are used too, yet take full advantage of the many social activities on offer. Being one of the original homes for older people in Invercargill, Peacehaven Village has a proud reputation for being a quality care provider in the local Southland community. Townhouses are sold under the occupation right agreement process.

Peacehaven Village also offers various other levels of care, ensuring that as the care needs of residents change, they may be able to remain in surroundings they have come to love and are familiar to them.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
