Residents Say It Best

”Moving to the Matua Village is the best decision we've made. It is amazing. Peaceful, quiet, next to nothing road noise. Our cottage is really wonderful. The people are friendly, and welcoming. There's things to get involved with if you want to, there's always something on. There's a van that takes you grocery shopping and on outings. We just love it here. The staff are wonderful and always looking out for us, and keep an eye on our place when we're away and while we're here. We feel secure and safe. We're so glad we moved here. We're close to all the amenities and our family are no longer worried about our future. We've seen people leave it too late to move to a lovely place like this and we're glad we did when we did. It's just a worry free life! The grounds and gardens are kept immaculate, the staff are are wonderful, and we would recommend moving here as soon as possible to anyone thinking about it.”

S Whitwell

”I have lived at Matua Village for 6 years and quite frankly, love it. We are independent living, but with Monday to Friday, we enjoy having management staff, including, gardeners, handyman, bus driver and cleaner, who are all very friendly and helpful. A big plus for the residents and families of residents, is that we have daily checks to ensure we are alright, this includes weekends. The environment is friendly, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful park like gardens. I liken this environment to living with a large friendly family. We have a variety of activities which one can choose to engage in or not….no pressure.”

C Roband

”5 years ago I came to Matua village,5 years later I am very grateful I made that decision. I feel very secure. I still have outside interests so I do not partake in the entertainment as much as I would like. Th staff are very friendly and caring. I recommend this village”

M Wakelin

”Mum has been living in the Apartments at Matua Lifecare since 2011. We're very impressed with the caring natures of Tristan (Manager) and Frances (Assistant Manager). Mum has her independence and support around when she needs it. Inviting surroundings, safe and secure, well tended grounds. We recommend Matua Lifecare.”
