|"We wish we'd moved in sooner - even before we retired." Steve and Jacky, Freedom residents.
"I have a marvellous lifestyle in a friendly secure community, no mortgage, a brand new low maintenance home with potential capital gain to provide security for my future - I'm free to come and go as I like and there is always someone to say hello to!" Heather, Freedom resident.
"We go away a lot and it's great that our house is looked after while we're away. We come back and it's the same as we left it. We also have somewhere to park the motorhome. Freedom is ideal - and it's great to get away from Auckland traffic." Linda, Freedom resident.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
