The village is situated near Virginia Lake Reserve, in a residential haven and with peaceful and beautiful landscaped garden surrounds. The villas have been designed and constructed to provide safe quality living. If you value an enriched, active and enjoyable retirement lifestyle, then Kowhainui Villas are an ideal choice.

We offer two-bedroom villas, complete with lounge and dining area, a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Our villas are attractive to residents who would like to be as independant as possible.

Kowhanui Villas are situated next to Kowhainui Home which has provided compassionate care and wonderful companionship for older people in Wanganui for more than 40 years. Villa residents are given preferential access into Kowhainui Home if their situation changes.

Adjacent to Kowhainui Villas is Kowhainui Resthome and Hospital which can provide sukpport when required.

Villa residents may participate in any of the social activities held at Kowhainui. There are weekly shopping trips into town in their coach and villa residents are welcome to use this service.
