The Anchorage Village is owned and operated by Hopper Living, an aspect of Hopper Developments. The first stage of villas is complete and residents enjoy a coastal retirement like no other at Marsden Cove, Northland.

Living options currently include stand alone, duplex and quadplex villas with apartments and care facility planned in the future. Some will be located directly on the canal waterfront. Shared facilities such as pool, bowling greens, common rooms, restaurant and more are also planned for The Anchorage Village .

The first 20 Villas are completed. The current stage of building includes another 8 quadplex villas (2 bedroom and 2 bathroom villas) and are due for completion in February 2020 with a limited number still available. The next stage of building is the development of 8 duplex villas (3 bedroom and 2 bathroom villas) with a planned completion in June 2020. These are popular and expressions of interest and applications for ORAs are being taken now.

The Village will accommodate the needs of the active retiree in the 60+ age bracket (spouse may be younger) and will deliver retirement living unlike anything else available in Northland. Residents will be able to enjoy amenities that offer a range of social activities with the added benefit of a unique waterfront outlook. The village enables boating, swimming and many other water activities.

The Anchorage is located near the Marina, adjacent to the stage 2 canal network and Lock. the planned independent medical centre offering a range of services including GP and dentist is presently under construction. The main shopping village of Ruakaka is only 5 minutes drive away complete with a medical centre, bank, postal services and supermarket.
