Summerset's continuum of care means that should your needs change in the future, you will be able to access additional levels of care and support in your own home, in your serviced apartment or in our care centre (subject to availability). And, if you ever need ongoing care, as a resident you‘ll receive priority access, right up to hospital level and dementia care. You’ll always have peace of mind of knowing all support needs are taken care of without having to leave the village.
Once the Village Centre is complete, Summerset Mount Denby will be humming with a range of on-site activities and features. This includes a café, exercise room, library, hair salon, vegetable garden, bar, indoor swimming pool & spa pool, lounge, and barbeque facilities. An on-site Activities Coordinator will also be joining the team to organise events, outings, and activities every week.
Soak up all that your retirement has to offer in this stunning semi-rural community surrounded by some of New Zealand's most beautiful coastal areas. Located right next to Whangarei Golf Club, there is a supermarket, medical centre and pharmacy just a short stroll down the road, and Whangarei town centre is only 5kms away. What more could you need!

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
