At Longridge everyone has a share of the view of the Ranges. Our Villas are generously spaced with gardens, patios and lawns, plus we have an unprecedented 30 acres of countryside that we have set aside for gardens, orchards, walkways, ponds and wetlands for our residents to enjoy. A truly unique Longridge Country Estate Retirement Village feature.
Once complete, there will be up to 420 retirement units within the development, with a range of two and three bedroom Villas available. All homes are architecturally designed to be high quality, easy use, and low maintenance and are north facing, making homes sunny and light.
Two bedroom villas come in three sizes from the Karamu - 92m2, Hauraki - 111m2, Maratoto and Waikino 131m2 (146m2 with double garage), with prices starting from $559,000.
Three bedroom villas - Puriri - 161m2, and Pohutukawa -185m2; both of these Villas include two bathrooms.
(the Pohutukawa also has a walk-in wardrobe, and kitchen pantry)
Longridge Country Estate is designed with both a fun community spirit and privacy in mind. Residents enjoy the popular weekly Happy Hour, and regular get togethers in our community facility. A new community hub and recreation building will offer even more opportunities to socialise, featuring a cafe/bar dining area, library, pool tables, swimming and spa pool, craft room, and cinema.
Pool is a popular activity at Longridge with residents enjoying spirited and fun in-house competitions, and also participating in local team competitions resplendent in their Longridge Village uniforms.
In addition to our regular petanque games outdoor bowls will become another outdoor activity once the main recreation centre has been completed.
The complementary Village van is well used by residents for shopping, and day trips. Village events add to the the fun of living at Longridge. The Spring Fling dinner and dance is the next on the events calendar.
And there's parking for your motorhome. Longridge is also pet friendly.
For those looking for a peaceful lifestyle with space, a fun, friendly bunch of residents and the countryside to enjoy – with none of the isolation or high maintenance – Longridge Country Estate is a wonderful place to call home. (or that's what our residents tell us)

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
