Bupa Ashford Retirement Village is a retirement village that still feels like a village, not a retirement city. Only a short drive from Christchurch city centre, our village is close to all local amenities such as pharmacy, supermarket, café and park. You can enjoy the freedom of living independently in our excellent community facilities.

At Bupa Ashford Retirement Village you can enjoy attractive one, two and three bedroom villas, which are warm, light, and spacious. Our villas have a modern kitchen, double glazed windows, heat pump and 24/7 emergency alarms.

Our 16 brand new apartments with domestic services* have an ensuite and kitchenette with an open-plan lounge and dining area. You can enjoy the freedom of independent living with an additional domestic services package of weekly housekeeping and linen change, plus an option for personal laundry. Two meal services will be provided every day.

All of our villas and apartments are built with high-quality materials, so they look great and are comfortable to live in.

We want you to feel comfortable knowing care is on hand if needed, so all of our apartments are fitted with 24/7 emergency alarms. Our Ashford Care Home is expected to be open in July 2023, offering rest home, hospital and dementia levels of care.
