Restrictions - critical visitors only
At Mt Eden Gardens the convenience of living in central Auckland is enhanced by the leafy charm of historic suburbia. This community is just 300 metres from Mt Eden Village, which has an attractive assortment of unique shops and eating places.

Mt Eden Gardens offers both privacy and a stimulating social life. On-site facilities include a community centre complete with restaurant, library, lounge with large-screen TV, gym, workshop, barbecue area and pétanque court. In the immediate neighbourhood you’ll find Mt Eden Tennis Club, Epsom Remuera Croquet Club and swimming pools. A regular walk up Maungawhau, Auckland’s largest volcanic mountain, is a local tradition if your fitness allows.

For everyday practicality, there are two supermarkets close by, plus a medical centre and pharmacy just one minute’s walk away. A bus stop directly in front of the community makes it quick and easy to get into the CBD for shopping, shows and gallery visits.

There are 35 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments at Mt Eden Gardens. All have a full kitchen, dining area and lounge. Every apartment also has beautiful views of the community’s lush gardens.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
