July 2018 - I am writing on behalf of our dad who passed away June 29, 2018. The staff and management at Oakdale were absolutely outstanding, and we want to let you know that. In the newly appointed Manager Katie and Clinical Manager Marianne, you have two exceptional leaders. As a family, we were shown compassion, sensitivity and exceptional professionalism. We were made to feel like family and encouraged to make ourselves at home. For us it was a challenging situation and we didn't know what to expect. We received constant reassurance and support. It was a privilege to be able to participate as the team (some of who's names i did not catch) came together. Everyone spoke to dad and maintained his dignity. We are lucky, so very lucky, and we wish to commend the staff at Oakdale and are so pleased our Mum resides here to. - The Reilly Family

October 2018 - I visited my family in the Dementia Unit this morning. The staff on were second to none. They were so wonderful with the residents and so very welcoming to us. I am visiting from the USA and i want to let you know that the staff were caring and they actually listened to the residents. Their interaction with everyone was outstanding and they really make this place feel like home. - Angela Reed

February 2019 - While my wife was only in your care for 5 months i feel we are deeply in debt to Oakdale. Every minute of of the 5 months was full of the very best of care, love and empathy. Her constant smile was testament to that care. As i said at her funeral, "if you want to find a hero, just visit a rest home, Oakdale especially". - The Reid family
