Lush gardens, courtyard spaces and secure outdoor areas are a key feature of the CHT St Margaret's Home & Hospital located in Te Atatu Peninsula – creating a relaxing atmosphere at this West Auckland property.

Design is around suites of 10 residents, all with ensuites, all enjoy shared dining area and living spaces, a kitchenette and access to gardens.

CHT St Margaret's dementia care unit provides secure, thoughtful care for residents who need extra care, complete with specially designed gardens, dining and lounge areas.

Quality care, compassion and a strong connection to the community is at the heart of CHT Healthcare Trust. For over 55 years we have been taking great care of older people in the Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas. Special Features
With colourful trees and gardens, St Margarets Hospital and Rest Home is designed around suites of between 8 and 10 bedrooms with each bedroom having its own ensuite. Each of the suites has its own dining area and living room and all have a kitchenette for use by residents and their guests.

Courtyards are a special feature at St Margarets and can be accessed from bedrooms and lounges, providing residents with secure outdoor areas and gardens.

At CHT we take time to listen to you and understand you. Our Trust was established for you and we want to know what you expect and need.

As a completely independent Charitable Trust we can focus on meeting the needs of our residents. As we have no other demands on our funds, we reinvest all of our surpluses back into our facilities and our services.

This focus on services is based on our strong belief that every person is entitled to be treated with respect at all times and given encouragement to retain the highest possible level of personal dignity, integrity and independence.
