Promisia is proud to provide the care people need as they age we offer a full range of care - Resthome, Hospital, Respite, YPD, Dementia, Palliative, Adult Day Care, and Independent living.
Aldwins House aspires to be the facility of choice by providing quality care, support and enriching the lives of the elderly in Christchurch.
Aldwins House service opened in December 2020 following a refurbishment of the property. Aldwins House has the capacity to provide long term residential resthome and hospital level care for up to 145 residents. We are opening the facility in stages and currently have 60 rooms open. Except for six rooms out of our 145 all have their own ensuites. We offer long term and respite care for resthome and hospital residents. We also provide care for long term YPD and Palliative Care/End of Life.
Our Respite care services, are available to those in need of extra support or who are unwell (eg, recovering from an illness or hospital stay). Respite care is designed as short-term support (a few days or weeks) and allows the usual carer to take a break and ensure the cared for person receives the care they need.
