At Dunblane Lifecare, we are proud to offer personalised hospital-level care and have the largest dementia care unit in Tairawhiti. We are the largest aged care facility north of the Gisborne CBD. Dunblane in Gisborne has the capacity to provide rest home level care to 26 seniors. Our dedicated and experienced team are here to attend to both your everyday and urgent requirements. We believe in providing personable, compassionate, safe, respectful care, adding value to the quality of everyday living.

Whether you or your loved ones are needing Respite Care - short term, we are willing and able to accommodate and warmly welcome with all the care and attention. We know it is very important to offer choices and to really listen to what our residents and their families want. Recognising the individual needs of our residents and to promote a friendly and comfortable environment is an important part of our philosophy. Family members are actively encouraged to be involved in the care of their loved one. Respecting the dignity, beliefs and culture of all helps us make each day the best it can be.

Residents can enjoy sunny courtyards, award-winning gardens and the convenience of being close to Gisborne's main shopping area and library. There is also a bus stop at our front entrance. We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone our Facility Manager, or feel free to drop in at any time.
"Really enjoyed the newsletter. The idea of a walking group is great. That is one activity my dad loves to do, so thank you for making this happen. Really appreciate this. This keeps us in the loop especially being away from our dad. The activities looked exciting and hopefully our dad takes these opportunities.

Just want to take this time to thank you for supporting us with settling dad into the home. You were both professional and caring of not only our dad but us as a family. Thank you very much to both of you." - Family of resident.
