Service Description
Service Description
Freedom Medical Alarms provide both In-Home and Roaming alarms to help keep New Zealanders living independently for as long as possible. There are two alarms to choose from, giving you options to choose the right alarm for your lifestyle. Our representatives will visit you at home to talk about the alarm options and provide a free demonstration. Our alarms are manufactured right here in New Zealand by a Kiwi-owned company and are easy to use, whilst still using the very latest technology.

In-Home Alarm: Feel safe and comfortable around your home and garden with our In-Home SEVEN base unit and accompanying wrist or neck pendant.

Roaming Alarm: Live your life with no limits with our GO Pendant. The GO Pendant uses GPS technology and cellular coverage to keep you connected no matter where in the country you go (product requires cellular coverage).

Both In-Home & Roaming Alarms: Enjoy the best of both worlds by using our GO Pendant when you’re out and about, and the added support of our In-Home Seven alarm at home.

The In-Home alarm consists of a base unit and wearable pendant. The base unit plugs into mains power and automatically connects to the cellular network to send alarm signals. When the pendant or base unit is activated, it sends signals directly through to the 111 Ambulance Communication Centre. The 111 Ambulance Communication Centre phones the alarm base unit back and speaks to you through a two-way speaker. If you are unable to reply or they cannot hear you, an ambulance is still arranged and will be dispatched to you as soon as possible.
