Service Description
Service Description
We provide free legal services to those who cannot afford a lawyer. We have a team of legal advocates, case workers, a staff solicitor and volunteer lawyers ready to assist. We provide legal assistance, information and education. We cover all of Southland from East Coast to West Coast from Tapanui to Rakiura.

We can assist with most of your legal issues and provide pathways for any work that may need to be done. We don't currently write up wills or Enduring Powers of Attorney, but we can on-refer you for those services.

Retirement Village Yes Information and support only so that you understand your commitments and obligations, but also understand what the obligations and commitments of the village are too.

Wills No We can help with explaining what the terms of a will are in plain English, but if you need a Will drawn up we would on-refer you to an appropriate agency for assistance
