Huge bouquets to Kauri Lodge

My lifelong friend Te Awa Heke was a resident at Kauri Lodge from January 2016 until August 2017. I witness such a massive improvement in Ts health and emotional wellbeing whilst at Kauri Lodge. The companionship he encourage tired with other residents and the family atmosphere throughout. He enjoyed his time in the facility and looked forward to returning when he had been away. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff for you kindness a aroha to our mate. We miss him terribly but we're so glad he spent his final moments with those who loved him as a brother. Many thanks
Marie

Provider response:

Thank you so much Marie! Te Awa was such a special member of our KL family. Loved that big smile of his! We are so grateful for the ongoing concerts we share with you and his family. warmest regards, Cath Toomey
