Ultimate Care Cambridge Oakdale is located in the Leamington, a short distance away from the charming town of Cambridge. With rural views, the rest home offers a dementia facility providing specialised, secure care for those assessed with Stage 3 dementia. It is a brand new purpose-built facility that complements the existing rest home which has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard.

Along with high quality accommodation, our landscaped gardens offer views across the commons. Local amenities and shops are within walking distance, and transport is provided for community activities and twice weekly outings.

With an extensive activities programme the rest home has something for everyone, from quizzes, movie nights and concerts, through to mini golf, crafts, sing-a-longs and weekly trips to the Avanti-drome. All meals are cooked on the premises and menus are reviewed by our dietician.

Our Facility Manager, Katie Payne, loves seeing her residents happiness as the morning activities get into full swing. "Our home, is our residents home, and we have created an environment with a real sense of belonging for all our residents and their families".

July 2018 - I am writing on behalf of our dad who passed away June 29, 2018. The staff and management at Oakdale were absolutely outstanding, and we want to let you know that. In the newly appointed Manager Katie and Clinical Manager Marianne, you have two exceptional leaders. As a family, we were shown compassion, sensitivity and exceptional professionalism. We were made to feel like family and encouraged to make ourselves at home. For us it was a challenging situation and we didn't know what to expect. We received constant reassurance and support. It was a privilege to be able to participate as the team (some of who's names i did not catch) came together. Everyone spoke to dad and maintained his dignity. We are lucky, so very lucky, and we wish to commend the staff at Oakdale and are so pleased our Mum resides here to. - The Reilly Family

February 2019 - While my wife was only in your care for 5 months i feel we are deeply in debt to Oakdale. Every minute of of the 5 months was full of the very best of care, love and empathy. Her constant smile was testament to that care. As i said at her funeral, "if you want to find a hero, just visit a rest home, Oakdale especially". - The Reid family

May 2019 - Thank you so very much for all your compassion, care and consideration of our Mum Shirley. You all do such an amazing job, which is not really appreciated until a loved one is in need. - Alton family
