Testimonials
What our clients say about Visionwest Home Healthcare:

• “Having someone checking on my father every day like his support workers do is such a comfort. If there is something happening that needs some attention, they will advise their supervisors or contact one of the family. That brings incredibly peace of mind to everyone in the family. The reality is, if not for Visionwest, Dad would not be in his own home and would lose the independence he currently enjoys.” - Alison, North Shore Auckland

• "The care and support my mother receives from Visionwest is the highlight of her day. It makes all the difference in the world to her." - Steph.

• “They are so very friendly when they come into the village. They are always compliant with use of PPE and so polite with the office staff. The residents speak very highly of them all and recommend them to other residents. I’ve never heard a bad word about Visionwest. You must do very good training because the professionalism and competence of the Support Workers is fantastic.” - Retirement Village Manager talking about Visionwest Support Workers.

• "The help Visionwest gives me lets me stay in my own home, surrounded by my precious memories. I just love the support Visionwest gives me." - Edna.

• “I’m so impressed with the care and thoughtfulness towards my father from his Support Worker. She has so much empathy and is a delight to have in my father’s home.” - Daughter of a client.

• “She did an excellent job and is very lovely. She is the absolute best. She works hard, is very pleasant and very considerate.” - Judy.

• “My Support Worker is amazing. I appreciate all the work she does. She’s kind, thoughtful and a great worker.” - Jack. Jack's daughter also called to say, “The Support Worker is just great with my Dad. She encourages him to be independent and ensures he eats his lunch when otherwise he’d often leave it untouched. She’s kind, patient and efficient.

• “She [the Support Worker] is very helpful and will do all the tasks off the care plan without reservation. She’s always so cheerful and we look forward to her visits.” - Charles and Jocelyn, Bay of Plenty.

• “I certainly couldn't live at home without support, there's absolutely no question about it. I wouldn't be able to manage now with the deterioration in my eyesight and my overall health. I wouldn't even want to try and think about being without my home healthcare ladies.” - Lynda, West Auckland.

Visionwest Home Healthcare and MobilityPlus.

To keep up with the level of care provided daily by Visionwest Home Healthcare, the organisation has integrated MobilityPlus into its service delivery structure. MobilityPlus is a tool used by Support Workers and Coordinators to communicate with each other and better coordinate service delivery to clients.

Every day, thousands of older adults and people living with a disability are supported by the 1300-strong (approx.) Visionwest Home Healthcare team. In their last financial year, the team delivered 1,289,897 hours of quality in-home healthcare. That’s over 3,500 hours every day throughout West Auckland, North Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Rotorua/Taupō.

With MobilityPlus, each Visionwest Support Worker has a mobile phone giving them the ability to organise their rosters, record start and finish times, communicate with Coordinators, receive schedule adjustments and other updates, access client info and request leave. Just months into its use, MobilityPlus is already making a huge difference to the efficiency of Visionwest’s quality healthcare service.
