I applaud the work of managing the multiple services of CMHT as not just a job, but a noble and ennobling mission that enriches many…. I applaud your organisation and staff with a mission to ensure the vulnerable and people with infirmities are given the right to live rather than merely exist. A virtue to maintain the dignity and richness of life. I liken this to the marae experience and Tikanga, manaakitanga, aroha to know acceptance and security. The CMHT Whanau has propensities to lead with care, humility and respect.

Service Description
Service Description
Counties Manukau Homecare services are designed to help our clients live with the right level of support to meet their personal needs at home.

We work closely with the client and their whanau to form an individualised service plan that reflects their needs and goals. This is reviewed regularly and adjusted to continue to give them the care and support they need to help them stay in their own home for as long as possible.

We have contracts with Counties Manukau DHB - Te Whatu Ora Health and the Ministry of Health - Te Whatu Ora for funded health care. The Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) identify the persons needs and eligibility for funding before referring them to our organisation to provide support. Services we are contracted to provide may include:

Household Management
*vacuuming and moping
*cleaning bathrooms, toilets and laundry areas
*wiping down kitchen surfaces
*laundry needs
*meal preparation

Personal Care:
*bathing/showering
*toiletries
*bed bathing
*grooming, including dressing and undressing
*mobility assistance

Medication Supervision & Grocery Shopping

If you are not eligible for funding, you may wish to utilise our services as a private client. Please contact our office.
