Finding the right care for someone you love can feel like a full-time job. Mycare makes it simple: browse real care worker profiles, read genuine reviews and choose the person who's the best fit, not just on paper, but on personality too.

Mycare is a bit different from a traditional care agency. Instead of a company rostering staff to you, we're an online marketplace where you connect directly with independent, self-employed care workers across New Zealand. You choose who you work with, agree the hours, rate and care plan together, and stay in control the whole way through.

There's no joining fee, and every care worker on Mycare has a clear Ministry of Justice Criminal Background Check before they can take on clients, so you can relax knowing you're in safe hands. Each profile shows their experience, qualifications and reviews from other families, so you can compare and choose with confidence.

How it works:

- Browse care worker profiles in your area and shortlist a few you like.

- Message them directly, ask questions, and arrange a meet-and-greet.

- Book, manage schedules, message and pay securely, all through Mycare, backed by insurance protection and our friendly support team.

A note on cost: Mycare is a private-pay platform. If you'd like to use Individualised Funding (IF) to cover your care, you'll need to get this approved first. Once you have approval, you're free to use it to pay your chosen carer through Mycare.

* Live-in support: Help on hand around the clock, including overnight assistance.

* Meals: Grocery runs and preparing light meals, teas and coffees.
* Exercise support: A walk, a swim, the gym, or exercise at home.
* Running errands: Prescriptions, shopping and all the day-to-day jobs sorted.
