Miranda Smith Homecare specialises in personalised flexible homecare so that those who prefer to stay in the familiar and private surroundings of their own home can have maximum independence, yet have access to help as it is needed.

Miranda Smith Homecare was established over 13 years ago, making it the longest running private homecare agency in the country. Since then, we have gone on to develop a reputation as an outstanding team providing excellence in care.

The care we provide is tailored to your needs. We are New Zealand owned, and independent and pride ourselves on delivering a comprehensive and personalised service with a strong focus on catering to clients who demand a high standard of service. We provide care on the days you prefer, and start at the time most convenient to you. We see clients as little as once a week for a few hours, right through to providing 24 hour service seven days a week, ensuring the help they need is readily available.

We are here to help you, short or long-term, day or night. Any services chosen by you will be tailored to suit your needs, lifestyle and preferences.

"At a time when we were feeling very helpless and could not control our family member's care from a distance, Miranda Smith Homecare provided what we could not give her. We very much appreciated your services and were very pleased with your concern, the level of care provided and the professional manner in which everything was handled. Thank you!"
Sharon and Bill, U.S.A.

"The two ladies, Delores and Helen were the loveliest, most trustworthy, caring ladies you could possibly have provided. I can not speak highly enough about the ladies. They showed total commitment to my mother’s care and wellbeing in every possible way, at every moment of the day and night.”
John, Christchurch

“Miranda Smith Homecare has provided kind, capable and empathetic carers, whom I feel they choose carefully based on their knowledge of my needs and requirements. Miranda Smith Homecare really does place a big emphasis on trying to slot the right carer in with each client which is so important.”
