Given the current COVID-19 environment we have temporarily disabled our ‘feedback’ feature. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Ultimate Care Cambridge Oakdale is your families home away from home. It is located in Leamington, a short distance away from the charming town of Cambridge, with rural views. We offer a dementia facility providing specialised, care for those assessed requiring a secure environment. Our dementia unit is a purpose-built facility that compliments the existing rest home and hospital which have recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard.

Along with high-quality accommodation, our landscaped gardens offer views across the commons. Local amenities and shops are within walking distance, and transport is provided for community activities and twice weekly outings.

With an extensive programme designed to meet the needs of our residents that require a secure environment, the dementia unit has something for everyone, from quizzes, movie nights and concerts, through to the velodrome, crafts and sing-a-longs. All meals are cooked on the premises and menus are reviewed by our dietician.

October 2018 - I visited my family in the Dementia Unit this morning. The staff on were second to none. They were so wonderful with the residents and so very welcoming to us. I am visiting from the USA and i want to let you know that the staff were caring and they actually listened to the residents. Their interaction with everyone was outstanding and they really make this place feel like home. - Angela Reed

May 2019 - Thankyou to all the staff who make such a big effort for the residents. You really do make a difference to the quality of life for the people in your care. - Joy McNulty
